Data Deletion
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This page explains how to delete data associated with Duha (com.kodmap.duha), a mobile application by kodmap. It is the deletion route referenced by our Privacy Policy and by the Google Play Data safety form.
Duha has no account. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password, and you never sign in. There is no account for us to close — and almost everything Duha holds lives on your device and nowhere else.
1. Delete your on-device data
Your worship data — prayer logs and streak, Qur'an bookmarks and last-read position, tasbih counts, khatm (hatim) progress, fasting log, downloaded reciters and translations, and your settings — is stored only on your device, inside the app's own database.
- Delete everything by uninstalling Duha. Uninstalling removes the entire local database, including your prayer history, bookmarks and downloaded content. This cannot be undone.
- Clear individual items in the app — for example reset the tasbih counter, remove a bookmark, or clear downloaded audio in settings.
Your location is used on your device and is not stored by us, so there is nothing on our side to delete for it. Revoke location permission any time in your system settings.
2. Subscription data
If you have bought Duha Plus, your purchase status is held by the Apple App Store or Google Play, tied to your store account rather than to any profile we keep.
- Cancelling the subscription is done in your Apple Account or Google Play settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
- Apple and Google keep their own billing records under their own retention rules; we cannot delete those on your behalf. Use their account tools to manage them.
3. Diagnostics we can remove
What exists off your device, and how to remove it:
- Analytics and crash reports (Firebase) are tied to a random per-install identifier, never to you, and carry no worship content or location. Uninstalling the app ends collection and the identifier is not reused. To turn it off without uninstalling, open Settings → Privacy → Usage statistics. To have records already sent deleted, email us from the address below — tell us your device model and roughly when you used the app, and we will locate and request deletion of the matching records within 30 days.
4. Nothing else to delete
Duha has no user database and no account, so there is no server-side profile to erase. The mosque finder and on-demand downloads (see the Privacy Policy, section 2) are anonymous requests that we do not store against you.
