Terms of Use
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Duha ("the app"), a mobile application by kodmap. By using Duha you agree to them.
1. The app
Duha is an Islamic companion app: prayer times and adhan, the Qur'an with audio and translation, a Qibla compass, a prayer tracker, dhikr and duas, a mosque finder, and related tools. It is provided as-is, for personal, religious and educational use. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.
2. Religious content and accuracy
Duha provides prayer times, Qibla direction, Hijri dates, Qur'an text, translations, tafsir and similar material for your convenience. These are computed or compiled to the best of our ability, but:
- Prayer times and Qibla depend on your location, your device sensors and the calculation method you choose. They are guidance, not a ruling. For matters of religious obligation, and where precision matters, verify with your local mosque or a qualified authority.
- Qur'an text, translations (meal), transliteration and tafsir are provided as reference material. Translations are interpretations of meaning and may differ between scholars.
You are responsible for choosing the settings (calculation method, madhhab, adjustments) appropriate to you.
3. Duha Plus subscription
Duha's core worship features are free forever. Duha Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features such as tafsir, word-by-word Qur'an, tajweed coloring, extra reciters and additional translation languages.
- Monthly and yearly plans are available. The price is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account on confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account or Google Play settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any free trial that is offered ends when the paid period begins; if you cancel before it ends you are not charged.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.
4. Acceptable use
Use Duha respectfully and lawfully. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt or misuse the app, and do not use it to redistribute its content in a way that infringes the rights of others. The Qur'an text, translations, recitations and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners and are provided for personal use within the app.
5. Disclaimer and liability
Duha is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, kodmap is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for reliance on computed prayer times, Qibla direction or other content where a local authority would be the correct source. Keep this in mind especially when travelling or at high latitudes, where calculation methods can differ.
6. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
